I spoke with Todd a few min ago, asked him how things are out there---he said even tho they just have one show under their belt he has a feeling its going to be a great tour. Thats what I like to hear! When the "talent" is happy, the management is too!

March 24, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — He's been called "rock's Renaissance man" by Entertainment Tonight and Mojo magazine recently described him as "a one-man Beatles." Todd Rundgren -- the legendary musician, songwriter, producer computer software developer and music video pioneer -- will come to the campus of DePauw University on Wednesday, April 8, as a guest of the Timothy and Sharon Ubben Lecture Series. Rundgren will discuss " ---- " in an 8 p.m. lecture in Kresge Auditorium of the Green Center for the Performing Arts. Like all Ubben Lectures, the talk is presented free of admission charge and is open to all.

CLEARWATER - Ruth Eckerd Hall On The Road presents Todd Rundgren at the historic Capitol Theatre on Friday, March 27, at 8 p.m. This iconic performer will make a rare concert appearance in the intimate setting of the 451-seat theatre located on the corner of Cleveland and Osceola Streets in downtown Clearwater.

Tickets are $49.75 and only available at the Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office located at 1111 McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater; by phone at 727-791-7400; or online at www.rutheckerdhall.com. The Ruth Eckerd Hall Ticket Office is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to show time. Tickets are not be available through Ticketmaster.

Todd Rundgren, who has written hit songs such as Hello It's Me, Bang the Drum All Day, Love in Action and Can We Still Be Friends, is currently on tour in support of his latest album release Arena, one his most critically acclaimed albums in years.

Ruth Eckerd Hall and the city of Clearwater have joined forces to renovate the historic Capitol Theatre and patrons at the Todd Rundgren concert will get a rare glimpse of one of the oldest operating theatres in Florida prior to the major renovations that will begin later this year. Currently Ruth Eckerd Hall is in the planning stages to raise funds to renovate the theatre to restore it to its 1921 grandeur.

The concert is part of downtown Clearwater's 4th Friday which is a free event from 5:30 to 8:30 pm and features interactive activities, live entertainment, arts and crafts and special events.
